Chris Walker

Comedian | Writer | Actor

Being a Black and Puerto Rican kid with red hair and freckles, born and raised in Chicago, IL., Chris Walker had to learn very quickly how to joke back with others to defend himself and that's where he found his love for comedy. Chris has performed in and produced shows all around Chicago and briefly in New York City and Los Angeles. Topics range from being mixed raced, fear of adult responsibilities, being a clueless father/significant other, being an identical twin, and his time as a correctional officer. Chris isn't winning any Father of the Year awards anytime soon as he spends most of his nights doing standup comedy.

Chris enjoys being a student of comedy. He has taken improv and stand up courses at The Second City Training Center Chicago and completed the Dave Schwensen’s Comedy Workshop and performed in the showcase at the Chicago Improv. Chris interned at The Comedy Bar Chicago where he helped produced and performed in the Bad People Good Comedy Show

Chris has been featured twice on the local television show, The Gentlemen Grochowski Show and has performed in shows where he’s opened up for Leon Rogers, B. Cole, Damon Williams, Just Nesh, Brandon “Hotsauce” Glover, and many other Chicagoland comedians.
